President El Sisi Speaks with President Donald Trump

On Friday, 24 November, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi spoke by phone with U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss the recent terror attack in Northern Sinai.

According to a statement from Egypt’s Office of the Presidency, President Trump “offered the sincere condolences of the United States for the victims of the abhorrent terrorist attack that targeted Al-Rawdah mosque in Northern Sinai and caused tens of killings and casualties,” and “wished the injured a speedy recovery.”

According to the statement, President El Sisi also “affirmed that this attack increases the determination of the Egyptian people to continue their battle against terrorism.”

President El Sisi Speaks with US President

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a telephone call this evening from US President Donald Trump, who offered the sincere condolences of the United States for the victims of the abhorrent terrorist attack that targeted Al-Rawdah mosque in Northern Sinai and caused tens of killings and casualties. The US president wished the injured a speedy recovery.

President Trump condemned the terrorist attack on innocent worshippers and affirmed the full solidarity of the US with Egypt in its war against terrorism and its support and readiness to enhance cooperation with Egypt in this field.
