The Embassy held on March 24, 2016 a reception for a number of American diplomats currently studying at the Foreign Service Institute as part of their preparation for their upcoming posting at US Embassy in Cairo. The diplomats where received by members of the Egyptian Embassy and discussed the ongoing relations between Egypt and the United States, in addition to discussing Egypt long history and rich culture.
