Ambassador Yasser Reda hosted a reception for thirty students from Anne Beers Elementary School in Washington DC. The Students were enrolled in 2016 series of the Embassy Adoption program, in which they educated about Egypt’s history, culture, tourism, and recent developments.

During the reception, the students chanted the Egyptian National anthem in Arabic, and performed a short folkloric Egyptian dance. Ambassador Reda thanked the students and their teachers for their efforts to learn about Egypt, and their interest in the Egyptian culture. He underscored the importance of the Embassy Adoption program in creating a bridge of interaction and communication between the peoples of the United States and other friendly countries in the world.
