President El Sisi Meets the President of Boeing International

On Tuesday, 25 September, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with Marc Allen, the President of Boeing International, in New York City.

During the meeting, President El Sisi and Mr. Allen “tackled aspects of the ongoing cooperation between Egypt and the American company, which include commercial jets and the development of EgyptAir’s fleet, which includes a large number of Boeing aircraft.” President El Sisi noted “Egypt’s commitment to further promoting cooperation, given the company’s outstanding experience and good reputation.”

President El Sisi Meets the President of Boeing International

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with President of Boeing International, Mr. Marc Allen, in New York on Tuesday.

President El Sisi expressed his appreciation for the level of cooperation between Egypt and Boeing, the world’s leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners, defense, space and security systems. He emphasized Egypt’s commitment to further promoting cooperation, given the company’s outstanding experience and good reputation.

Mr. Allen underscored Boeing’s interest in the Egyptian market, confirming that the company seeks to expand the size and scope of its activities, in light of the rapid economic development and serious economic reforms which are conducive to investment and offer good opportunities to boost foreign investment in Egypt.

The meeting tackled aspects of the ongoing cooperation between Egypt and the American company, which include commercial jets and the development of EgyptAir’s fleet, which includes a large number of Boeing aircraft. The meeting also touched on stepping up cooperation between Egypt and Boeing in defense. President El Sisi underscored Egypt’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the aerospace company in various areas, notably transferring expertise and advanced technology to Egyptian cadres.
